Cockpits, certainly one of my favorite stages of a build, and you have done yours justice. Always a shame though, so much covered up. But with these Spit kits, and the open option, thankfully lets more of the talents show!!
Cockpit in the fuselage
It's from now on that the bulk of the work begins (and probably some problems too): wings and fuselage assembly, some modification on the wings, work on the nose and engine hood...
Despite it's an early Spitfire IX (F.IX) with merlin 63 engine, my project had the narrow cannon blisters cause it was a Castle Bromwich manufactured aircraft. CBAF equiped their Spitfire IXs with the narrow cannon blister from circa April 1943. My project MA568 was manufactured in June 1943.
