Before you chuck it, get a cloth and soak it with as hot a water as you can hold. Then firmly but gently press it onto the decal

Don't give up you have created a good model, be a shame to not finish, and as George says, an easy fix with hot water and maybe an an ear bud rolled over them to push the underlying liquid out.

It should not be work. Or a chore. Nor should have be a pain in to complete.
If you dont feel it, bench it. Or burn it or thrash it.
It is all ok.
There should not be pressure in a hobby, only joy.

I am however convinced the urge will come back. Just hang around here and enjoy other builds, discussions or silly cartoons. Have a laugh.

It a good place to hang out enjoying aeroplanes in good company.
