there may be some inaccuracies with this kit but will live with them if there are as it looks like a MiG 17/Lim 6
i do know that 306 had the extra inboard wing pylons but as they are not supplied in this box version of the kit i will simply not be fitting them.
One thing I did notice was missing from the kit was the braking parachute housing.
After fiddling with the nose from a spare missile for the last hour I have this !
However, the brake parachute container was of different shape. the rear opening was more pointy. What is more, its fairing was longer and started at almost the same line the front edge of the air braker was. ... see the shots below.

Looks pretty darned good to me and, as you say, it's good enough. Looking forward to seeing it progress.

Terry i did hope that is the case as its a lot of small parts that cannot be seen, so hoping just the fiewall, main engine block and jetpipe need to be fitted
