The_Air_Transport_Auxiliary_in_the_Second_World_War_CH8945.jpg

Allied women pilots of the Air Transport Auxiliary service. Their job done, four female ATA pilots (three Americans and one Polish) leaving an airfield near Maidenhead, 19 March 1943. They are from left to right: Roberta Sandoz of Washington; Kay Van Doozer from Los Angeles; Jadwiga Piłsudska from Warsaw; and Mary Hooper from Los Angeles

Nice one, definitely a Master. It is ugly enough to have been built by Blackburn. :)

It did have a bit of a gull wing, not at all like a 'Corsair' though !!!

From the nation that brought you the Spitfire, another beauty in all her glory.

That's the beast. I Google Imaged "British Gull Wing Aircraft" trying to find it and came up with the Corsair, Lysander and oddly enough, the Wyvern among scores of others but nary a photo of the Master
