Here is me and my wingman on a Ju-88 escort mission. Pictutre is of me and my wingman climbing out to the bombers. It was a successful mission, only losing my #5 man (which Bailed Successfuly). I noticed that my plane was very sluggish, and the engine wasnt responding to full power commands, comes to find out I forgot to jettison my drop tank. All well, Will learn for next time.

Was on a night mission this evening in my '262 and just happened to look over to Starboard, and guess what I see?

Sorry, but you wouldn't be bailing out of the -38 if I'd have got you.

I have a nasty habit of killing my target's pilot.

Miggs
I don't waste my time tying to kill the pilot, my main objective is to disable the aircraft and move on to the next target.

But there have been occasions when an enemy unnessecarily "downed" a crippled wingmate of mine, or shot one of my guys out of thier silk. At that point, I make that person a special project and will take them out with as much prejudice as conditions permit.

I don't do it deliberately,it seems to be how I take aim(lead just ahead of the spinner).

There's an awful amount of my kills that fall out of control and no one bales out, hence my assumption that I've killed the pilot.

Agh. You don't know how many times I've went into a spin and crashed. Couldn't bail out or anything. Anyway, shooting a pilot dead isn't really fun. I want them to survive so they could live to fight again and I can shoot them down again. It's a vicious cycle. :D

Wow...it's been a month of Sundays since we got in any MP killin'...but Lawndart and I went-A-killin' this afternoon and I figured I'd share a few screens (Redbeard was nowhere to be found)...

In the first two screens, Lawndart is in the WWI camo, I'm in the other aircraft (Me262 and tan/vermillion 109Z)...

The next two, are of me in my Komet bringing it in after a mission. Two things to notice here...one is how I had to keep a nose-up attitude, since my skid was damaged, and fell away when I went to lower it. The other is that I'm lined up on the taxiway, because that big funeral pyre...oops, I meant column of smoke on the runway, was the stain that Lawndart left when he went to "land" his Komet...

Which leads us to the last image...he made sure to save the screenshot where it happily announced that I was roasted in the saddle, after a RAF jockey lit off my fuel tank in my Bf109. I tried like heck to get out, but as you can see, it wasn't gonna happen. So there ya' have it, proof that the invincable GrauGeist does in fact get waxed once in a while... :evil4:

Same here, but dont forget the centerfugial forces that trap guys in there...

Ive been shot down before in a uncontrolled spin and couldnt get out either...

I thought there was only Centripetal force. Newton's third law Paraphrased "To every action there is always opposed an equal reaction"

The opposite reaction accounts for the outwards motion. Centripetal is inwards motion and if Newton's third law is in cooperated to that there is your outwards force. Centrifugal is supposedly a 'pseudo' force.

That's what we learned in science atleast :D
