i was so constipated in basic it might have taken the Big Cat Thunderbolt to loosen it

In my service it was the number one golden rule never to point a weapon at anyone, even if you know the safety is on or it isn't loaded: and these guys take loaded automatic weapons to a wedding and fire it on full auto in the close proximity of families and children, it beggars belief.

yup, here too, yet accidents still happened and if you are unfamiliar with the barrel rise on full auto it's like loosing control of a fire hose. i doubt if he deliberately pointed at anyone, most likely up in the air and one handed and i am very sure goodly amounts of alcohol were involved
