VERY nice sabre Dog! With the others though, prefer the 'original' Sabre, want to do a Korean War one, probably the Academy 1/48th.

Hmm! A good article in a recent modelling magazine shows R.A.F. Germany, and R.A.F. Fighter Command Sabres, in camouflage, with the exception of the intial 'acceptance trials' aircraft. Still prefer the 'natural metal' finished birds though. Or how about the Canadian gold-painted aerobatic team's kites, 'Golden Hawks' I think they were called. I'm sure PB will know!
Whilst here, a question for Wayne. Can you reccomend a 1/32nd scale seat harness for the Me109G/K? Just the harness, as I'm going to try to see what I can do with a 21st Century kit, and don't want a full 'cockpit set'. I normally make my own harnesses, but thought I'd make an exception in this case.

Simple...Eduard etch set....which I use!

Ah Ha! Thanks Wayne. Didn't realise the buckles etc were separate, like the old Waldron stuff. Even better, as, although I've only used etched belts once before (in over 40 years!), I think they're a bit too rigid, even when annealed. With separate buckles/adjusters etc., I can use vinyl strips, cut from old business card or credit card wallets, or fabric from an old roller blind. When painted, they look great in 1/32nd. scale.

OOOH, YES! That's extremely nicely done! There's just something about Russian jets, from the '50's to the present day, they just look so.... purposeful.
