Very nice Hawk despite the panel lines and the aerial work also looks well made. I also take it that this is the replica of one on display someplace, hence the framework underneath.
 
Very nice...and I have always liked the look of the Hawk, although its performance was not really "current" even when first built.

Interestingly enough (I think it was JJ but may have been DB) told the story that when they first began to encounter FW190s the "intelligence" chiefs at the time wrote off pilot's accounts of a new radial "super fighter' as being a few Hawks captured from teh French and pressed into Luftwaffe service.

(What did they say about High Ranks and high altitudes again?? :rolleyes: )

Hmmm... really. Don't get me wrong, much better than my skill level. But seeing other posts from this Expo I think they may have missed the mark on this one.
