here she is. the Dixie Clipper Boeing model 314. one of Boeing's earliest airliners and their only flying boat. this particular Aircraft flew with Pan Am and was repainted to fly President Roosevelt to Casablanca for a conference.

I had fun making this one. it was quite challenging since there was no landing gear. oc course why would there be? it's a flying boat. the decals went on ok. had some trouble getting a few to stay on, tho. but I did some touching up before i took these pics.

thanks, Ter. I like it like that, too. though I only wish Pan Am wasn't the only US airline operator of the B314
 
hehe thanks a bunch, guys. but only 2 colors were painted on. sea blue and intermediate blue. the rest are decals (except the white)
