Mk.Vb trop Mk.Vc trop, different How????

I want to next build an Aussie Mk.Vc tropical, as it has been pointed out to me these were in service in Darwin. Is the difference significant between the two? cheers, Bill

Bill I'm not a Spitfire guy, I'm sure one will be along, but The B and C refer to the wing type. The B wing carried 4 machine guns and 2 cannons. The C wing or universal wing carried either 4 cannon or 4 machine guns and 2 cannons. There were probably minor differences in bulges and plumbing IIRC.

Exactly....the differences can be seen on top and bottom surfaces of the wings.There are different panel lines on them.

Thanks A4, I've been searching around, but everything I find is rather confusing, I've also located on Ebay.au a conversion kit for a Mk.Vb to trop Vc, redroo resin kit, have you ever heard of it? I've been looking for a Vc trop Tamiya kit, is there one? cheers, Bill
