I wouldn't mind knowing what sort of price they are at places like Micro Mark. In the UK, the cheapest set I've seen is nearly £40. It might be worthwhile having one sent from the 'States, if the price and shipping is right.

Roll Models sells 2 similiar sets made by Waldron Tools - Precision Punch Die Set has 6 punches ranging from 1 mm to 4 mm in steps of 0.5 mm; the Sub-Miniature Punch Die Set has 10 punches ranging from 0.46 mm to 1.6 mm in 0.127 mm (0.005 inch) steps.

Neither one is cheap. 48$ and 99$ respectively

Thanks Dwight. It's one of the Waldron sets I've seen in the UK, at over £40. Harrison sent me a message with a price for Micro Mark at around £24, plus shipping, which should be no more than about £5, so I might have a look when there's not so much month left at the end of the money !

Same here. I'd only need to use it every now and again; considered one many years ago, to use with their instrument faces etc, but couldn't justify the cost then, and still can't.

These next three posts show how my modeling skills have progressed and how new tools are needed to keep up.

The subject is those kits that just wind up NEEDING to be Euthanized !!!

This first set of tools was used by me for many years. However they eventually became seasonal items in my area and the neighbors tended to complain when they were used.
