Seen in Columbus Ohio in September 2007. This bird has an interesting history and was once a four seater. I was not aware of that until this morning when I read therough the attached information.

Officially the fastestAnd now in an all white color scheme, and on display (in airworthy condition) at Planes of Fame as the fastest Mustang and the fastest (or at least one of the fastest) prop planes built or modified for the task of speed.
