Yes to one piece assembly including nacelles but the mount (item 21) is bolted to the firewall.

The small strip in IMG_0200 looks very much like the stall strip on the F4U Corsair but the wheel well doesn't jive

Hmm. It's looking vaguely familiar, but I can't place it.
Thought at first it might be a Me108 or Nord wing, but not sure. With the stall strip (also familiar from somewhere !) maybe a small jet ?
Looks like the main gear leg bay has been plated over (see arrows), and evidently outward folding undercart. That's if this is a real undercart bay - perhaps fabricated to look like one ?
The fork lift forks give more scale to it, and I've adjusted the brightness and contrast to show a little more detail.
As mentioned, very possibly a movie or theatrical 'prop', using a wing, or complete aircraft, to fit requirements, perhaps for a 'crash scene'.

Probably a light aircraft of some sort going by the spars which probably means most people on this forum will not be able to recognize it. The only part number I can see is below but not readable - may be 002014 or 00.2014.
The almost central rear spar is the primary spar with the gear attached to that which is unusual and the front spar only attaches at the lower cap which again is unusual

Yep, the overall layout, stall strip and wing walk panel all fit the Norecrin. Now I know why I was thinking of the Nord-built version of the Me108.

Another picture.
So the wing is from a Norecrin.
Thanks for the advice etc. etc.

regards

Hi,
We found in the basement of our museum (in The Netherlands) an airplane wing.
Attached some photos. Length of the wing is appr. 454 cm and width is 170cm.
Any idea from which plane this wing could be?

regards
Jan
Resp:
My first thought is that outer wing from a B-26 Marauder, but the aleron doesn't look quite right.

15 foot panel span, so maybe 34 foot wing span. Slotted flap. No spars or spar attach fittings. It seems to have fuel tank piping/fittings on the rib, yet no fuel cap on the upper surface of the wing. Mysterious.

Hi Jan.
I'm only guessing - looking at silhouettes only 60mm square,. As the curator of the museum I strongly recommend you have a look at a 'living' Nord 1203 Norecrin II before committing yourself to inscribing the plaque. :thumbleft:

Certainly looks very much like a Norecrin wing - general shape, wing walk panel and stall strip all match.
Pic below from Wiki, and many more can be found on the 'net.
