Has anyone seen this kit yet? I was able to look through a pre-release kit at my LHS this week. Damned nice kit with a damned nice price tag of around $200. The surface detail was absolutely breath taking. The entire kit looks to typical Tamiya quality. I will be curious to hear if any others have seen it yet or even own one.

Now That would be a kit I would like to build in 1/32nd.
My GB30 New Lease would be a 1/32 P-51D as an California Air National Guard.

****and am I seeing it on that auction site already??????????

So is this the New one, and what does "Export Version Only" mean as far as this kit goes?

Yeap, I am seeing it on ebay for about $110ish (includes shipping out of Hong Kong). I love my LHS, but that is a steep discount over them.

I think Cory (Catch 22) has very recently bought this kit - maybe he can let you know what you get for all that cash! (I'd want a piece of a real one, and a hand-signed on gold leaf certificate confirming I'd spent a lot of hard-earned on a box of plastic!)
