Besides plastic models I've also picked up a few metal planes (already assembled). These could probably be more classified as toys but WTH! Some look good. Don't know many of the manufacturers except for Matchbox but my father always used to wonder why metal toys couldn't be alittle more accurate.

Some 190s and 109s - don't know why the 190s are from JG 2 even though 2 different companies.

and a mixed collection. The P-40 was played with one of my sons and lost a tailwing and propellor in the process. Oh , so lucky to have kids! :) The blue/red D.VII I purchased with CCheese and TO when we went to Reading last year.

Most of these are in the 1/72 scale range - give or take.

and now the monsters. These are huge plastic models that came assembled. They are the bane of my pre-wife as the only place I have to put them is on top of our entertainment center. Not attractive she says! :( For scale I placed a US quarter on the tail wheel of the Bf 109 _ Muncheberg's from 7./JG 26.

Some nice little models there Chris, and some bl**dy big ones! This all those aircraft around, I guess your username stands for New Jersey Air Charter Organisation!!

Heh. Good luck, NJ, that complaint doesn't change when they get upgraded from "pre-wife" to "wife". Even if you have your own designated room to do with as you please, what "you please" better be pleasing to her, too!

Nice models, BTW!

Nice models Njaco! I myself have a Matchbox P-51, and my brother an F4U! (oh how I wish that was reversed now!)

Also, my brother has both of those big ones. They're 1:18 21st Century Toys, correct? I just love the Stuka, bloody huge!
