Thank you all for the input. I tried to get a shot of her feeding the babies, but their heads moved so fast I could not get a good un-blurred shot, any suggestions on speeds. They are in light shade.
Excellent work Ontos. If you'll remember the shots that I took of the semis on the interstate my shutter speed was up around 1/2700 to 1/3200. That may be somewhat quicker than you need but it will definitely freeze the subject in your image.
I tried a new thing this time, some landscape shots of beautiful downtown Riverside, and the snow caped mountains, some birds thrown in just for fun. The Falcon doesn't seem to mind how close I get to him as long as I don't bother him.
Thank you Aaron, I think I'm going to try and stitch the pictures of the mountains together like you did with your panorama shots, just to see how it works. I can't Waite for the 27th and the Riverside Air Show, at least I'll try and get some aircraft pictures.
Kieth, the pilot of the L-19 E-mailed me today and let me know that they did get the photos of the T-28 that I had and that they were a big help in repainting the craft and he also told me that the airshow season here was not far off and that he would let me know when where they would be so maybe I can get some more aircraft shots.
Great news, Aaron! If you can get some formation work in a T-28, you'll never forget it. Let me know if you get a chance to get a T-28 formations. I have some tips for photography in a T-28 since you can't open the canopy in flight.
Wow, some of the sunset photos in that second link are absolute stunners. You can do formation with a T-34 and a T-28, but I'm not sure if the L-19 can go fast enough to keep up with a T-28. Keep in touch with the T-28 guys, they do gatherings on both the east and west coasts and you never know when a good opportunity might come up.
I'm not sure Eric but I think Bryon pretty much keeps to the small shows from what I gather from Terry and Kieth. He has the planes in Lenore, NC. I think and stays kinda local.
Wife and I went to another quilt show in Palm Springs yesterday, and took a ton of pictures. I had to take some shots of the beautiful mountains around Palm Springs, also putting in some shots of the quilts, these are not your Grandmas Quilts, very artistic.
