Thanks Gnomey, Aaron and Eric, I still have allot of practice to do with that 500mm, it does get heavy after six hours It was really a good show they didn't have it last year, I hope they continue to keep it going 8)
 
Affirmative Aaron, focal length. I had a pair of Hawks that made a nest in my Eucalyptus tree, they had three babies and now I have five hawks flying around my yard. here are some shots of one who likes my birdbath. I had to take these shots through the window

Sorry for not getting back for so long, thanks for all the kind comments. Thanks Aaron, wish I had the time to take some Photography Courses, they are having open enrollment at UCR but no can do Here are some shots of my friendly Hawk, now he drinks out of my fountain that sits next to a bedroom window, the Lizard I took just for fun, the shot looked kind of funny to me. Thanks VB and Aaron, the landing is also my favorite one. He surely isn't afraid of us But I don't know if thats a good thing, I hope he isn't a Kujo Bird
 
Thanks Wayne. We had a 30 acre brush fire not far from our house and of course the news got there pretty quick, so I had to grab a shot of their chopper, the UPS was just for fun, he flew over a few minutes later.
