Acouple of my older scanned pics and the beuatiful job I did cleaning the T6/ Harvard engine today, . The 12 ship of 101's was done after NORAD opeval/taceval which is an intense 3 day flying excercise . As the inspectors were leaving they decided to put the squadron up as a "you can't beat us" sign . If you look you can see 6 with the red missles these are fully armed the only birds that didn't go up were the Q birds
Spring is here no rain sunny brought the Spit out today it started up pretty fast and Rick Volker comes by every nice day to practice his airshow routine doesn't land as he would require customs. Next will be the Hurri then the 109
Those things are like F5's and Lightnings room for your ass and a gallon of gas . From what I've been told it has about an hours fuel . Heres todays ones
better spot .looking at Jardines it says Canadian Aerobatic team is he?
Yes, Doug was on the Canadian team. Whether he still is or not, I don't know. Looks like that one is different. The star-like marking on the cowl is red on the one in your pictures, black on Doug Jardine's. Odd coincidence that we have planes with almost identical markings getting their picture taken by 2 guys on a website.
