Another photo from my archive, source Internet, with no mentioning of the a/c types. Just this:
USCG flying boats off Miami with USCGC Pandora 1934.
The darker painted a/c with the pusher engines are General Aviation PJ-1. The lighter painted a/c is Douglas RD-1 Dolphin.
General Aviation became part of North American Aviation (NAA), the latter building the B-25 and PBJ resp. The letter J denoting the manufacturer remained the same.
The boat looks pretty small but it was probably small in reality.
