This plane is new to me. Being the dedicated student of all things aeromologickall, that surprised me.
Lovely plumage.

It would have looked far better without the gondola under the belly but that was where the guns were mounted like on the Blenheim fighter aircraft. There is a reference to it in Francillons book.

I never knew that Cessna T-50's were used as airliners at all, let alone used by my former Employer and its predecessors.
NWA only used the 1 example for training and parts delivery and other non passenenger services.

But Wisconsion Central (later purchased by Northwest) used them as 3 passenger airliners post war for a few years. One of the 3 passengers was seated in the copilots seat.

In Canada in the 60s lots of farms had war surplus Cranes - the Canadian name for Bobcats. More than one person said that more acres were plowed by Cranes during the war than by horses and many called the engines Rock Crushers
