I was just sent a couple of pictures on a Northwaest Martin 404 that was involoved in a maintenence taxing accedent in the 1950's apparently the mechanic taxing missed the turn in the taxiway and when he turned back onto the pavement at speed the nose gear collapsed. It must have been a fun ride! and an uncofortable talk with the boss!

I always think Shorts Solent was an copy of it but naturally the Solent was a bigger, better, Sunderland. I think all three are very good looking.
