The propeller looks comically small. They must've spun it fast to necessitate such dimensions.

I agree it looks too small but they would not spin it fast because then the outer section will be supersonic and produce very little thrust.

The one in the upper box is a Valencian Figurita, female, called Lisbeth. The one in the lower box is a Spread Ash Pomeranian, male, called Bertie.

That prop definitely doesn't look right

I have a suspicion that we are looking at an "optical dissolutionment" as one of my old bosses would say.

I suspect that if someone with CAD skills was to compare that prop with the prop on a typical A-17A at the same magnification they would find it is the normal prop and visually "distorted" in our brains by the size of the spinner.

The Lancaster ditched on Lake Constance, Switzerland. It was to stay there until 1954 when it was recovered. It was scrapped
a year later.
