My dad was involved in the building of the Pima Air Museum;s P-51D "Bad Angel". I will be sharing 61 photos of the restoration/build over the next few weeks. I will try to post 4-6 photos a day.

You never really appreciate how much work goes into these restorations until you spend time around them. It really is a labor of love for guys like your father.

Good to see another '51 being looked after. Incidentaly, the Rudder trim knob in your last batch of pics....might just happen to have come from our Tony (Rocketeer) as I know he supplied one via ebay to Pima. They are very good (I've got two !)

More pics please especially of the cockpit fittings and the floor ?

Interesting shots showing the sequence of building the windshield assembly.....thats the bit I'm about to start when I've got some more ali in stock :cry:
