There were more aircraft but these were the main players in the Polish Campaign. All of this info here was taken from http://www.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/LRG/

I know the two principle fighters of the Polish were the PZL P.11 and PZL P.7 - they could have had the P.24 which was superior to the P.11 but it wasn't bought before the war started.

Not that I know of. They were merely developments of the advanced P.1 which was a remarkable designed from the late 20s that defeated it's European counter-parts in fighter competitions (including German, British and French designs).

By the time Germany invaded in September 1939 there were still thirty P.7s in service with the Polish Air Force. They had started to arrive in 1932 but mostly were delivered in 1933. Quite advanced at the time of introduction but hopelessly out-classed by 1939. Still, they had 8.5 confirmed aerial victories over the Luftwaffe in P.7s. These were fitted with Bristol Jupiter engines.

The P.11 was a redesign of the P.7 to accept the Bristol Mercury engine, which was more powerful. The two types in Polish service were the P.11a and P.11c, the P.11b was an export model sent to Romania.

The P.11 achieved a confirmed 120 kills against the Luftwaffe, including ten Me-109s and thirteen Me-110s.

Any mistakes in that, feel free to point out.

Wow the performance on those aircraft is really not that great. There max speed was almost 200 kmh slower than the Luftwaffe fighters and the Luftwaffe bombers were still faster than the Polish fighters. Man!
