Here is a Curtiss SBC-4 , the pre-cursor to the WW II Helldiver. The kit is 1/72 by Matchbox. Not a bad kit overall though the panel lines area bit heavy.

Here are a few Missile Rocket models from the '60's and '70's. They are Monogram and Revell kits in all kind of odd scales. What we had back then !

Ed, what are you going to do with your collection when you... you know... are no longer able to care for them. I know you have thought about that and perhaps that is too personal for this forum. But as an admirer of your collection, I wonder what your plans are. If you don't reply, I understand.

Doesn't diminish such dedication and wonderful work. I'm jealous.

We've talked about it and my collection will stay together at least until She is gone. The kids will try to keep it together after that but I feel that is a large burden on them. I am looking into donating it but have been told most of it would be packed away and never seen. I would like to know it will stay together but I don't think that could happen forever. When I moved to Florida from New Jersey I gave away my ship models as I didn't think they would transport well. I still remember the neighborhood kid's faces as they received thier treasures. I know most of the ships didn't survive long but for a short time they made some children happy. As a last resort that might happen again. Modelling has been a large part of my life and has made me happy. Maybe that is enough.
