Here's a Korean War vintage YAK-18 in NKAF colors. Plane was used as a light bomber and night harassment aircraft. Kit is from A-model in 1/72 scale.

Very nicely done Steve. So what's this 'larger project'? Sounds interesting ......

It's a sort of "what if" aircraft graveyard diorama. All four aircraft are based on genuine aircraft (the He 177 is of course genuine) but there's no way they could all have been in the same place at the same time :)

I'm hoping to show some very different camouflage schemes,I've got a Diana built Bf 109 G-10 in 77/82,a Fw 190 A in standard 74/75 and an Me 262 in 81/82 with a 76 squiggle!

The actual diorama exists only in my head at the moment.

Heres a US Navy, Douglas F4D-1 from the Naval Air Development Center. I always thought this guy looked more menacing in blue. Kit is 1/72 from Airfix.
