Nice ones mate!

I wanted to scratchbuild the Ju 287 V1 when I was younger, but never did - quite a project! - He 177 for the main fuselage, Ju 388 for the tail, B-24 for the u/c, civilian Ju 52s for the wheel spats, Me 262s for the engines, and an Il-28 for the wings...Just not worth it!

Years layer I read of that Huma kit, but never saw one in person, and by that time, that boat had sailed for me.

Hey Terry, I promised I would post my 1960's Revell model kit of the Sopwith Camel once I finished it. I know you wanted to see what I did with it. So here is what I have. Since it is really hard to photograph some of the internal details due to the upper wing, I'll post a couple of earlier photos so that you would have an idea what's inside.

As you can see, I did a little bit of scratch building.

Here is a bit of the outside. Mind you, the decals are over 60 years old. I applied an acrylic varnish and let dry a few days before I attempted to use them. The stripes didn't survive very well but the rest of it surprised me.

I drilled out where the petrol would go in and scratch built the covers. The threads I coated with an future floor polish to keep the fuzzys away.
