Do you mean "Fat Bottomed Girls" by Queen? If so, that was written by Brian May who definitely is NOT gay…he's been married for 26 years, and that's after being in a relationship with his future wife for 20 years prior to that. Pretty straight and monogamous, methinks.

Thank you for that. I had always thought the whole band were gay which is why they were so talented - and no I am not gay but we have friends in various arts professions who are and I find that in many cases the most talented are also the most bent (in their own words). The same applies to my haematologist and oncologist. Both very bent and both the top in their fields.

Freddy Mercury was the only gay member of Queen (actually, he was bisexual…although he avoided labels).

Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon are all definitely straight. Deacon has 6 kids with his wife of 51 (yes, they married in 1975) years.

Great band, great musicians, great music….but I may be a tad biased.
