I once was served kangaroo meat at a restaurant in the vicinity of Le Theil sur Huisne (Orne).
My deputy was upset. She told me :
'' You ate Skippy ! ''

One restaurant in Cairns had roo on the menu so I ordered it by saying I will have the road kill.

After the meal was finished the chef came out and asked how I liked the roo. I told him (honestly) that it was the most tender roo I had ever eaten. He said that was because it tenderized by being killed by a 1976 Nissan Cedric traveling at exactly 48kmh. It was a great restaurant when he was chef but ordinary once he left. Until then his food was the only thing I liked about Cairns.

After the young girls that Jeffrey Epstein supplied to his famous party guests had entertained them, Epstein would interview the girls to see if she has any dirt on the guest that could be used to entrap them.

One of the girls entertained Bill Gates. When asked what she had found out, she relied "not much, but I did find out why he named his company Microsoft".

I found this at @cholling

For years I've been hearing that "One day AI will be smarter than humans and we'll all be doomed."

"Nonsense," I said. "AI is very stupid, and not getting noticeably smarter." And I was right.

But I didn't think about the fact that there were two ways that prophecy could be fulfilled.

Sounds like a good plot for the Twilight Zone.

When I was a child, I don't remember buying aluminum foil in rolls to make tin foil hats. I collected the foil from chocolate bars for the same reason but the pieces were too small and gluing them together was next to impossible. So my cousin and myself developed another strategy (I'm the bigger one; my cousin's head was too small at that time and he needed a chin strap):

Wearing those "helmets" too often had its negative side though:

Cheers!
