Who remembers Rowan a & Martin's Laugh-In ?

Rowan was a P-39 pilot in the Solomans in WW2. After surviving that, I guess he thought everything was funny. Don Adams of Get Smart was a solider on Guadalcanal and was wounded; I am surprised he thought anything was funny. Rod Serling was a paratrooper in the Pacific and had some experiences that were right out of the TZ.
