American pilot on an exchange tour with the RAF in September 1970 or '71. Was on a night "TacEval" exercise, hunting a Shackleton acting as "enemy". Believed to have hit the sea, exited the sinking aircraft, and was never found.

BTW, the answer to the state question for "The Princess Bride" pic is....drum roll, please....

Utah (I'd be willing to put money on it). Many towns are laid out in a grid pattern with addresses referencing the position of the house relative to the street numbers. Also, "The Princess Bride" is hugely popular among the LDS community.

I liked that film myself. Haven't seen it in about 35 years or so, so I wonder how it aged. (Some films you saw and liked when you were younger are atrocious to see later on!)
