A lumberjack cuts wood for the winter. An Indian passes by and the lumberjack asks him:
- Will winter be cold?
- Yes, HUGH! very cold winter.
So the lumberjack starts chopping more wood. The next day, the Indian passes by again and the lumberjack asks him if winter will really be as cold as they say. The Indian replies:
- Yes, HUGH! Very harsh winter...
Then the woodcutter takes up his saw and cuts a mountain of wood. The next day, the Indian passes by again, saying:
- Very, very harsh winter.
The lumberjack, intrigued, asks him:
- But anyway, tell me how you guess that winter will be very cold?
- At home, we have a saying: When the white man cuts wood, it means cold winter.
