Except that it wasn't a recorded laugh track. The Two Ronnies performed in front of a live audience and it was their actual reaction to the gags.

Well, many Americans think Benny Hill was hilarious...personally, I found him as humorous as a terminal disease.

Then again, a sense of humor/humour is an innately personal thing. Life would be very boring if we all found the same things funny.

Yeah, and worse still they laugh and giggle at their own jokes while the tell them.

The first and last time I watched the two ronnies was after having a wisdom tooth surgically removed so I was feeling like s h 1 t so zombied in front of the TV.

First up was a show where young kids were telling jokes, quite entertaining as they told the jokes without laughing at themselves. A couple of hours later it was the two ronnies telling the same jokes but giggling and laughing at themselves in the middle of the joke.

I changed channels.
