Here's my newest purchase. A balsa/tissue model of a Spitfire. This is going on hold for awhile. I'm still working on the scale plastic Spitfire [that you can see some of in the background]. And I still have the Japanese "Rufe" to do, and that will be next. All because I went into the hobby shop for a paint brush !

G'day Charles. I'm going to paint it as the one depicted on the box. All up it comes with decals for 4 aircraft - 3 RAAF and 1 USAAF a/c based in Australia.

I bought a compressor airbrush on ebay last night. 1st build I'll try it on will be a 1/48 La-7.

I think you are right, but I'm going to make a conversion into a fighter variant of Ju-88

How come nearly all JU88 kits are the A4 variant? Some years ago, I got the Hobbycraft 1/48th Ju88A4 but, as I wanted to include it in my Battle of Britain collection, I converted it to an A5. Must finish it off some time!
