And Wayne you'll love that Seafire kit. One thing I know about it is that the angle of the rear frame of the windscreen/forward frame of the canopy is not at enough of an angle. I used the Squadron vac canopy on mine.

If anything, that is a very good thing to consider. The hood is too small as well, sits way above the guide rails on the upper side of the fuselage, so a replacement vacform windscreen and hood is a very good idea indeed. You can also try to force it down (which looks odd if succesful), but there's a 50-50 chance the hood will break in two if you do that

Not yet, but I hope to win this Airfix 1/72 Boeing B-29 Superfortress, 1979 and type 5 box, the contents sealed and it sits at £4.99 with about 1 day 23 hours to go....

This is the box that I've been looking for... Wish me luck!

It's up at £31 now! Not paying that! Wonder if it's a collector, the box is in a nice shape, the kit itself is still sealed... If it wasn't that I've bought two Greyhound buses for my dad as a birthday present (14th of November) I might have....possibly...oh well, another time! Might see how far another Airfix 1/72 B-29 goes, in the older Red Stripe boxing...

D*mn you Airfix, d*mn you Roy Cross and your boxart!
