Mine purposely tricks me. Last week she says, "You didn't get to go to the hobby store last trip to Asheville, would you like to go?" Got a plane for the "Nose-art" G.B. and two bottles of paint, $30.00. Then we went to the mall and she got two pairs of shoes, a couple of Snoopy's and a new phone case, $200.00!
 
Being single again has it's advantages - these arrived today. The Spit will eventually join the other 1/32nd scale examples, as a clipped-wing MkVb of a Polish squadron.

Sneaky things, Beaufighters; they can approach at low level, under the radar, pass you without you knowing it, and end up on your doorstep, patiently waiting, a smug smile on their snub-nosed face! It's a nice kit Aaron, and goes together without problems - I think you'll enjoy building this one.

Nothing better than a substantial investment in plastic to lift one's spirits in this dull, dismal time of year old boy. In my case, it's Stash = 8, Wallet = 0 , but I'm now a tad more cheerful !!!
 
True! Have my eyes on a couple of books as well, about the Coastal Command, same again about their anti shipping (same as V2's book), one about RAF No. 5 Bomb Group....
