Good stuff chaps.
Karl, those Wick decals I promised you are here somewhere! I'll find them in time for Duxford. Only one set of 'Horrido' decals as i remember, but the others are there as well, including the 'little bird'.

In would like to know why Techmod give you canopy masks for 48 and 72,and not 32. I am outraged, this is going to have to go to HR:lol: Just scored this old Mossie, now I need the Edmonton decals. Ideas?

well, not modeling. but I did get a couple of really great games for xbox 360. there's Battlestations Midway, and its sequel Battlestations Pacific. both are AMAZING games. you control capital ships from submarines, destroyers to battleships to carriers, and you also control aircraft from fighters to recon planes to dive bombers and torpedo planes. kind of inspires me to get some planes that were used later in the war like the Hellcat, Corsair, and even start on my USS Missouri. :D it's really challenging, cos you got enemy planes coming in, while you also gotta take care of enemy ships. my favorite thing to control is the Iowa-Class Battleship :D

Hmmmmm.....seems like an awfully tight formation there, on the cover of the Pacific game......a divebomber's wet dream?

Sounds like cool games though....stick with my USS West Virginia class and other early battleships and of course, the Yorktowns!

do either of you have Xbox live? it'd be fun to play against you fellas :D for the moment, I've only got Pacific. the Midway disc was defective, and I'm waiting on a replacement.

I have a leftover set from that kit Karl if you need them. Never used the kit decals.

No luck here Red 2....

Got a couple of sets Karl!

Picked this up along with ordering some code letters and serial numbers.

I will be building it as a Lancaster X which is basically a Canadian built III. This kit, while the Dambuster kit, does come with the pieces needed to build a normal Lanc. It will be built as a Christmas gift for my grandmother, whose father worked at a factory in Windsor, Ontario making wheels for Xs.

Unfortunately the nose art only exists in 1/48, which there isn't room for in my grandparents' condo for, so I had to go with 1/72. I'll just have to make my own decals for the art.

I've been debating about those 2 games, any fun? I have Battlefield 1943 which has an air superiority in it that is a lot of fun, though it's not complicated nor realistic in any way but is a wonderful stress reliever.

There a lot of fun, you can control ships/aircraft/submarines...love controlling the speedy destroyers
