If it's not to be displayed open, maybe do it like the P-40 kits with the separate tail and glue the front and back parts together before the fuselage halves. works out much better that way with the P-40s and I plan on doing that with the Monogram P-80 I have when I get to it.I built the 1/32 Hase F-86,the only problem I had was mating the front and back fuse together. Not the best fit but a nice kit none the less.
I went to one of my local shops today to pick up some paint.
When I got in the store, there was screaming and people running everywhere to hide from a whirling flying object that was swooping down in an obvious attempt to terrorize, if not injure the patrons. The hero in me took over and I lunged through the air as the object approached and, grasping at it wildly, I managed to wrestle it to the ground. I managed to subdue the thing as the people clapped and cheered. The applause then transformed into shouts of "Get it outta here!!!!" So, clutching the still wriggling object, I grabbed the paint I wanted, proceeded to check-out, and left the store.
In the interest of preventing death or injury to you, my forum mates, I present a picture of this dangerous curiosity, which has now calmed down and resides in my stash.
