Well I just got this yesterday, If you've been wanting that carrier deck for a modern (last 45 years give or take) here it is. Skunkmodels Workshop Nimitz Carrier deck. I am displaying it with my unfinished Trumpeter RA-5C as it is one of the larger USN carrier aircraft I have in a quasi finished (yeah I know) to show a display with. It is 360mm wide and 600mm long (for those of us that don't understand a mm, it is a candy with chocolate on the inside, it is nearly 2 feet long and 14" wide. The blast deflectors can be raised or lowered but they don't stand up quite correctly as depicted in the photo, the arms should be straight up and locked and the catapult section is PC with a plastic shuttle for your favorite F-14 or A-6's locking arm to fit down in. I don't really know a lot about aircraft carriers except they are big and carrier aircraft but this one is modeled on the Nimitz with an open shooter instead of the later bubble. I also comes with 3 deck crew men. Kinetic (sister to Skunkmodels) also has one but it comes with several vehicles and a T-45 Buckeye as well, and the price is much higher.

After the debacle of the Customs overcharge, a kit being returned to sender in Canada, and the 'Postie' sodding off before I could answer the door, I finally picked up a Heinkel kit from the mail office today. The final addition to the Luftwaffe contingent in my 'BoB - Hardest Days' collection; just needs some slight mods, and it'll be a KG26 He-111H-4.

Bl**dy funny getting it back from the sorting office on my mobility scooter - it came in a box measuring about 24 x 18 x 12 inches !
Had to wedge it on the bottom of the scooter, and hang my legs over the top - got some really strange looks bimbling through town !!
