Nice ones Karl!

Couldn't resist these babies, found on E-Bay (2 more still available!):

Hasegawa 1:72 Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-11, D-13 Combo.

Note: Kit is standard (lovely!) Hassy Fw 190D-9s (2) with resin props, D-13 spinner, oval intakes and wing bulges. Missing therefore are the subtle cowl bulges of the title subjects. Also curious to see if they note the mid wing lower fuselage panel differences for the D-13.

Some great buys here chaps.
Really looking forward to seeing the new Sword Lightning Karl. If it's anything like their 1/72nd scale fighter versions, it should be a great kit. I guess I'll have to get one, as I remember seeing them at Middleton St George, when the airfield was still RAF, but the civil airport was just starting out - must have been about 1964 or 65 I think.

Black and white pic was taken in 63, the year RAF Middleton st George closed with Teesside airport opening in 64.
Might invest in an airfix F1/2 as decals are available to do a single seater shown above
