Nostalgia bug hits again.....

Needed some M60 MG's for my planned Vietnam gun trucks. Got these from BNA Model World out of the thunder from down under. I even forgot what I ordered but the price was right. I search ebay, find what I want and then got to the sight of the seller if they have one, ie A-modeler = BNA Model World. Save quite a bit.

, 12 were built. The first batch went to 1/ZG1 in the west in Spring 1940. Some photos show examples with 1. 1/Erprobungsgruppe 210 during the BoB. Three served with III/ZG26 in the Med. Some also made their way to the Eastern front with SKG210 and ZG1.

Of the five marked 'fate unknown', what IS known is that 1. Staffel, Erprobungsgruppe 210 recorded losses of Bf 110 C-6s on the following dates:
30th July 1940 (Lt. Hans Herold & Gefr. Lotar Lilienthal)
11th August 1940 (Lt. Kurt Bertram & Ogefr. Gerhard Mertins)
11th August 1940 (Gefr. Christian Weiss & Ogefr. Richard Keilhaupt)
15th August 1940 (Lt. Erich Beudel & Ogefr. Otto Jordan) S9+TH
So, four of those five 'fate unknown's were lost in action between 30th July 1940 and 15th August 1940.
