Think that I have to Dan, haven't seen ANY of them. Used to watch the series, the original one, The Next Generation, Star Trek Voyager, some of the Deep Space Nine.....but, never the movies!

Okay. Now that Les and Lucky have exchanged their "magic", here's some final pics.

A LITTLE BACKGROUND

I originally posted this model kit as something that has been in attic since I was a kid. When I posted this pic, Mr. Airframes politely ridiculed me. And rightfully so. No hard feelings. But me like challenge. :toothy5:

And for this, I thank Airframes. For I have much to learn from the Master.

Here is the original kit box for the Super Stearman. A crappy double kit, but what intrigued me was the Stearman. She's was a beauty when I bought her. I loved her lines. Airframes inspired me.

So from that forum "insult" (honestly really no insult taken, Terry  ) I manned up for the challenge.

This is my take on the Reno 2009 entry from Horse [USA] for the forum! I hope I don't disappoint!

This is a update to the original Boeing Stearman, a Super Stearman with a 650hp Pratt Whitney radial. Ofcourse, FLYBOYJ is our pilot in the rear cockpit. Forward is evangilder "Shooter" taking airshow pics for our sponser.

Moderators are noted on the starboard upper-wing panel.

There is a serious error, but it was unavoidable. Nevertheless, the tribute remains.

The decals were scratch built. And the livery was my design. Thought it fit the Forum for an airshow sponsored Super Stearman.

Ah! Got all the pics now.
Wow! Stunning Stearman! Perfection in Paintwork! Remarkable Rigging! Delectable Decals!
Right, that should be enough grovelling to cover my earlier 'insult'!
But seriously Matt, a b****y marvelleous job! It looks fantastic. All you have to do now, is find a real one, and persuade someone to paint it in that great scheme!
