After some researches I understood that the long pylon should be correct for the model I'm making, so I went on adding the two fins and opening two little doors in the plane belly to replicate fin supports.

Hi everybody, back from my usual time on my holiday hose, I continued my work on this project.
Cockpit set, including seats is from GT resin.
Enclosed some pictures.
Any comment/suggestion is very welcome.
Thanks
Alberto

It's good to see you back, Alberto. Those interiors and seats are "padrísimos" ("great").

Cheers

Many thanks for your nice comments!
Next step will be priming everything and then i think this build will be put on old for some time, because I want to finish at least two of the other models still w.i.p.
Alberto

Beside my intention to put this build aside for a while and complete at least one of the other w.i.p., i did some more work, i.e. I added some pipes inside landing gear wells, no pictures, yet. But I also discovered an other shortcoming in the Tamiya kit: the ECM pod supplied isn't suitable for a 1967 bird because it's too new. According to what I learned this pod should be of QRC-160-1/ALQ-71 type. There was a Cutting Edge kit for that, but its very, very hard to find, so my question are, do you know any other source? Do you know where I could find a drawing so I could scratch-build it myself?
Enclose picture of ALQ-87, supplied with the kit and ALQ-71
Many thanks
Alberto

That's great, thanks! And should be enough to make a suitable drawing, if I don't succeed in finding the Cutting Edge kit.
