It is quite difficult to say what kind of primer was used for Russian WW2 aircraft. It depended on a factory and a period of time. Generaly these wooden parts were primmered with yellow primer ALG-9 with AJe-9 grey dope. And then the silver paint on it. The wood called "Delta" was preserved with red-brown varnish WIAM-B3.Metal parts were painted with A-14f steel paint and the duraluminium parts with ALG-1 "dirty yellow" primer.
In 1941 metal parts started being primmered with ALG-5 grey-yellow or grey-greenish paint or a mixture of ALG-1 and A-14 ( 50%/50% ratio). ALso there was used blue-green primer for metal parts preservation. For those wooden elements there was used blue-grey primer.
