Nice one. I've just driven past, today, the site where they mere made, at Slingsby /Kirkbymoorside, in Yorkshire, The company is still going, making mainly gliders, but also the Slingsby T67A Firefly aerobatic aircraft.

Really Terry? How cool is that!

My folks come from the area, there is a surprising amount of aerospace industry hidden away there. Although Kir(k)bymoorside isn't actually in the North York Moors National Park it is close, factories that make any sort of pollution even noise are frowned upon. Small high tech firms that dont make a mess can do well, its a beautiful place to make composites. My old Aunt came from there, they still havnt agreed how to spell the name, some signs are Kirkbymoorside and some Kirbymoorside.
