Some fotos I took in Iraq.

Yeah right. If I tried that, I'd be shot.
There may be some interior shots online somewhere of basic things like the OMC (One Man Console, where the helmsman/planesman sits) or of a passageway or something. I haven't really looked. I'll have a look on the main DND site, and if I find anything I'll post a link.

These subs were originally built for the Royal Navy, so it's possible that an RN site may have pics too. I doubt it though.

I had a feeling that pictures inside the sub is verboten for you guys. I understand why, but it would be nice to see where you were. I haven't been in a sub, other than that tiny U-boat at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry many years ago. That was really cramped. I couldn't imaging being in that thing for extended periods of time.

Yeah I figured the same thing but I figured I would ask anyhow. :D

Anyhow here are some more pics that I salvaged off of my laptop today.

Yeah it sucked pretty bad. We took about 5 birds on that strike but the last one hit the wind screen and almost punched completely through.

Here are a few more, hope you like.

Love the pics Adler bet that bird strike made the guy jump.
That tank looks in better nick than the ones I saw in Egypt. The local police headquaters at Luxor had an WW2 Willys jeep with an old .5 browning mounted . Every morning it was pushed out then push back into the compound at night I had a decko and found it had no engine.
what a bloody mob

Cool! I love the Iranian tank pic.
Something that always struck me as odd was that a lot of desert countries seem to colour their uniforms and equipment green. :-k

That is because a lot of the countries like Iraq and Iran for the most part are not covered in deserts like the Saharah. There is actually quite a bit of vegitation througout the country including the desert.
