Oh... I've forgotten about something... the first shot in the first post here might be of Spitfire Mk.VB RF-D BM144 during May of 1942.

Here an interesting picture of Spitfires Mk.VB of the 303 Polish Squadron. The first one in the background is Spit Mk.VB RF-D BM144.

Although not visible I decided to paint the oil tank (I think).

The plastic seat was an extra item, not a replacement for the metal type; your aircraft might have had a metal seat, and nobody can say, for sure, otherwise. Photos of Zumbach, in his cockpit, are inconclusive.

Looking really good. But these oxygen bottles on port side should have been painted with different colour in my opinion.

Yes, they were mostly a 'silver' colour. Also, just noticed that, as usual, the undercarriage selector lever has been moulded in the 'Up' position. The oxygen bottle on the starboard fuselage side was normally black too.

Repaints the bottles of oxygen.

The engine is already complete. Are missing exhaust pipes. Only after gluing the fuselage is that they are placed.

Nice work. However, the larger, twin oxygen bottles are silver, the small bottle (painted silver) is black.
