Is it possible to get any clear photo, which showing a B-17 fitted with 40 guns and a B-25 fitted with 12 forward guns plus a gun turret and a still flyable Bf-109 with its slot released ?

I suspect you mean a YB-40 the upgunned B-17

The B-25 is a J model with the so called "strafer"nose

eight fifties in the nose and two sidepack fifties on each side of the nose

I read this from web before. I wonder either so want to prove

I've also read about the 40 gun B-17 but have never been able to find a pic of it either. There is a close up pic of one with a 6 gun chin turret but no idea if it had more upgrades. I wonder if somebody just got confused with the YB-40 designation.
