The photoes are a bit more lighten due to flash, real things are more balanced.
Well next update with the propeller (i keep thinking of this engine which comes next....)

Propeller almost finished, i have to seal it with satin varnish. I went easy with the weathering. I also tried to tone down the color of the chipping. I hope i didn't overdo it.

Looks great John but I believe the props on the IX were made of wood so chipping is questionable. I have seen pics of the props with metal edges though.
 
Look'in Sweeet John!! Now the props were they just wood on the IXs? and did this come about from a wartime shortage I guess?Cheers Kevin
