This is a little longer video, because the Astrograph was the final development of celestial navigation in WWII. It followed on centuries of celestial navigation work, but turned out to be awkward to use in practice and was abandoned. The work of Philip van Horn Weems is discussed, an amazing Naval officer, former all-American football player and Olympic wrestler, who contributed to our understanding of aerial navigation during that time.

Great stuff, maybe an idea to put all videos together in one post about "bombing aids" or similar. If I had never heard about an intervalometer or astrograph I wouldn't know the word to search for. Oh and welcome here BTW.
